How to Measure Faucet Aerator

Other Q&A

Q: How do I know if my faucet has enough water pressure for a water flosser?

Option A: Use a Pressure Gauge (if available)
Attach a pressure gauge to your faucet. Typical household water pressure ranges from 40 to 60 PSI.

Option B: Measure Flow Rate (without a gauge)
A faucet with a flow rate of 1.5–2.2 GPM should fill a one-gallon container in about 45 seconds.

Option C: Inspect the Faucet
Check that the shutoff valve under the sink is fully open — partially closed valves can reduce flow.

Option D: Test Another Faucet
Try connecting the flosser to a different faucet to compare water pressure and flow.
