How can I check if my faucet’s water pressure is sufficient for the water flosser?
1. Use a Pressure Gauge (if available): Attach a gauge to your faucet; typical household water pressure is 40–60 PSI.
2. Or Measure Flow Rate (Without a Gauge): A faucet with 1.5–2.2 GPM should fill a one-gallon container in about 45 seconds.
3. Inspect the Faucet: the valve under the sink is fully open.
4. Test Another Faucet: Connect the flosser to a different faucet to compare performance.
How do I store my flosser when not in use? If you won’t be using the water flosser for an extended period—for example, while traveling—you may remove it from the faucet. After disconnecting, turn the diverter valve handle to the horizontal position, and hang the flosser for a while to allow any remaining water to drain out. This will help keep the flosser dry and clean, and prevent mold from forming.
